Walgreens haul: Wet N’ Wild Fergie Concealer, Velvet Matte Lip Color for spring

Walgreens haul: Wet N’ Wild Fergie Concealer, Velvet Matte Lip Color for spring

I went to Walgreens to pick up a case of my new favorite Dasani Sparkling water and ended up with two lip pencils, concealer, a new mascara and a blush. These are some good ones! Spring is in the air when you walk into the drugstore, and I’m taking full advantage of buying these up before they’re gone. Pastel is the definite trend for spring.. soft peach, lilac and Tiffany blues with some hot pink thrown in.

Wet N Wild Fergie Concealer

Let’s start off with this Wet N’ Wild Come Correct Celebrity Concealer by Fergie (I’m wearing Fair). It is the best drugstore concealer I’ve ever used. It is comparable to the Kat Von D. tattoo cover concealer.. seriously. It’s thick, very matte, and the coverage is insane. In the top photo, you can see my terrible worn out eye on the right. Makeup smudged from wearing all day, dark circles, redness… on the left I concealed under the eye and on the cheek. Flawless and I didn’t need that much. The texture is impressive and even the ingredients boast a few botanical moisturizers. Three colors are available, but medium didn’t look that much different from pale when I saw it in the store. There was no creasing and it does not feel greasy or tacky.

The Maybelline Lash Sensational has a comb wand brush on one end, so I snatched this up. Remember the crazy blog post from years ago that caused a petition to go viral over the Maybelline Lash Stylist mascara? Yeh.. this better be good! I can’t wait to try it tomorrow.

Milani Coral blush, Wet N Wile Velvet Matte Lip Color, Wet N Wild Concealer

Next, I couldn’t pass up the new Milani Powder Blush in Coral Cove. It came out last year but was re-released for this spring. Highly pigmented, I definitely had to blend down this blush after application. It is totally matte, so it was hard to blend. Go lightly with these blushes!

Last but not least are the two Wet N’ Wild Velvet Matte Lip Colors is Kreamsicle Kitty and The Stand Out. Very pigmented and just like the Revlon ones that came out a few years ago. I LOVE the Kreamsicle color and will try the lilac shade tomorrow morning. The texture is not too dry and in fact, there is a bit of moisture here.

Well, there you have it. My late night Walgreens haul was a success!
