7 Awesome Spring 2011 Makeup Must-Haves!

Coral and pink blushes, eye shadow palettes with purple hues, and bronzers galore! My list just keeps growing! Here are just 7 of the products I’m eying on this blooming season.

Purple is still a force in the cosmetics world… which I love, and at this very moment, I’m sporting some mighty fierce purple eye shadow for the Prince concert in Oakland tonight! Very excited! With that said… take a look at these eye shadow palettes!

Lancôme ‘Color Design – Ultra Lavande’ Sensational Effect Eyeshadow Quad

Loving this really fun quad of shades that scream Spring! You don’t really have to go crazy and wear all 4 colors at once (although, if you’re me, you would!) but you can swipe on one color, a highlighter shade below the brow and call it a day.

Another palette is available with a gold, purple, dark purple and white frost shade: Warm Lavande

MAC Wonder Woman

M·A·C ‘Wonder Woman’ Eyeshadow Quad – Defiance

These lovely plum hues are SO wearable and fun.. although I don’t remember Wonder Woman wearing these shades…be your own woman of wonder with this stunning eye shadow quad. Major prettiness happening here!  Don’t forget, this MAC quad is Limited Edition, so hurry and get one while they’re still available! Quad colors include: Defiance (V.Pearl), Paradise Island (Satin), Star Studded (Satin), Real Drama (Satin).

Guerlain ‘Blush G Serie Noire’ Powder

I have a sinking feeling that this gorgeous compact is sold out in most places. I checked… sold out. Ughh.. I really love this! ” Energized orange, intense fuchsia, delicate pink and pearly pink: four shades that make your cheeks flush. These healthy glow boosters harmonize perfectly to revive the complexion and give it energy and vitality. ”  – This palette just about covers all of your blush needs for spring and summer. I must find this! Comment below and let me know where you’ve found it.

Lancome Butterflies

Lancôme ‘Butterflies Fever – Ultra Lavande’ Blush

To go perfectly with the above Lancome eyeshadow quad, this shimmering blush is another amazing must-have for spring.

“The new must-have shimmer blush is an original twist of two incontrovertible items of ’70s style: the bow tie and the butterfly, designed by Alexis Mabille. In fashion, wearing a bow tie is the ultimate chic attitude—a way to express a free spirit and absolute lack of concern for what other people think. The butterfly is a multicultural symbol of a free soul, femininity and the beauty of nature. Mix three shades for a healthy flush, or use separately: ”

– For a natural rosy flush, apply only the pink ballerina shade.
– To sculpt your face, use the beige ballerina shade.
– To unify your complexion on target areas, use the lavender shade alone.

Chanel Soho

CHANEL Soho De Chanel Highlighting Powders & Blush

This looks like a complete face sculpting kit, with a shimmering highlighter powder, a dark bronze blush/bronzer and a peachy blush shade. I really like the fact that this is a 3-in-one product that will cut way down on the bulging purse issue that I commonly have.

Trish McEvoy Bronzer

Trish McEvoy Matte Bronzer

My quest to find the perfect MATTE bronzer is still on. I want something sheer, blendable, and definitely matte. I had a shimmery bronzer, which lasted me years, and now it is time to pitch it away and get something I really want. This might be it… own it, hate it or love it, let me know what you think of this by commenting below!

Jane Iredale lip gloss

Jane Iredale ‘Lip Fixation’ Duo in Rapture

This is awesome! A lip stain on one end and a gloss on the other! Although this has been done before by other lines, I don’t think I’ve quite seen this color combo before! What is even better is that this combo is packed with natural ingredients that benefit your lips. There are three combos available:

– Rapture: Warm-toned red stain with sheer pink gloss.

– Fetish: Cool plum stain and lilac gloss.

– Devotion: Coral stain with pink gloss.

Any of these top your must-have list for spring??
