Who is Lilly Pulitzer? While working at her juice stand in Palm Beach, she became tired of trying to get the juice stains out of her dress, so she asked her dressmaker to design a sleeveless shift dress made of bright colors and patterns on cotton material. The dress became her trademark and became what is now the classic shift dress. Jackie Kennedy was one of the first celebs to wear Lilly’s dresses … and well, the rest is history.

This new MAC in Lillyland collection is a ” collaboration that feels like the best tongue-in-chic resort retort delivers that joyously bright and refined Key West bloom: new floral patterned Pearlmatte Eye Shadow and Face Powder, plus all the retro-modern colour combinations that Lilly is famous for.”

The Pearlmate Eye shadow ($19.50) is a powder Eye Shadow in which matte and pearlized shades combine to produce a soft pearl-highlight finish. In this limited edition, three complementary shades form a floral motif inspired by the signature patterns of Lilly Pulitizer.

The Pearlmate Face Powder ($27.00) is a pressed powder in which matte and pearlized shades combine to produce a soft pearl-highlight finish. In this special limited-edition design, four complementary shades form a floral motif inspired by the signature patterns of Lilly Pulitizer.
